Street containers

ESTABLISHING A CONSUMER-FRIENDLY NETWORK FOR COLLECTING E-WASTE AND WASTE BATTERIES

At waste bin areas and other locations throughout Slovenia we are setting up street containers for collecting e-waste and waste batteries.

Street containers receive e-waste up to the size 40 x 25 x 25 cm, i.e.:

• Small domestic appliances (electric mixers, irons, scales, water kettles, juicers, toasters, slicers etc.)
• Computer equipment and fun electronics (mobile phones, phones, computers, printers, speakers, keyboards, radios, tape recorders, record players, computer mice, calculators, cameras, headphones, DVD players, video cameras etc.
• Other small equipment and tools (hair dryers and curlers, electric tools, vacuum cleaners, fans, trimmers, lamps etc.)
• Toys (All toys that are powered by electricity from the mains, batteries or accumulators)
• Portable batteries and accumulators (batteries AA, AAA, AAAA, DC, 9V,...)
